BARLEY
Although it is an important cereal plant whose grains are used as malt and forage, it is one of the plants with economic importance. The homeland of barley, which generally likes mild and warm climates, is Neasia. Since it can be grown in barren and infertile soils under different climatic conditions, it has an important place in world grain production. Barley, which ranks 4th in production among cereals in the world, after corn, wheat and rice, is in the second place after wheat in Turkey. Barley grows well in places with high relative humidity, not too cold or not too hot. Places where the temperature does not fall below 0 degrees and do not rise above 18-20 degrees, with a relative humidity of 70-80% are very suitable for barley.
